Increase the Visibility of Your Own Work in the Marriage Movement

Posted: 1.12.05

Our goal for the release of What Next for the Marriage Movement? is to raise public awareness on a national, regional and local level about the amazing work that is being done by the marriage movement in the U.S. We hope that some of you will want to use this opportunity to raise the visibility of your own work, and we would like to support you in any way we can. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Help get press attention for the statement. Use the press release as a model for writing your own or just add a paragraph about the work that your organization is doing, change the contact info and send it out to your local paper.
  • Write an op-ed about the statement and the work you are doing. Contact Sara Butler to see a sample op-ed.
  • Customize What Next for the Marriage Movement? Contact Sara Butler for a PDF version of the statement in which you can put the name, contact info and mission statement of your organization. Print it out and disseminate it to your members. Should you wish to order a large volume of printed copies, we can make those available to you at discounted prices. Contact the Institute for American Values directly at [email protected] or 212.246.3942.

Many thanks!
